Recently, certified by the Institute of Solar Energy Hamelin (ISFH) in Germany, LONGi's silicon heterojunction cell (p-HJT) made of gallium-doped p-type silicon wafers has achieved a new breakthrough in efficiency: fully utilizing the mass-produced process in full-scale (M6 Size, area 274.3cm²) single crystal silicon wafer, created a world record for the efficiency of large-scale p-type photovoltaic cells with a conversion efficiency of 25.47%, further verifying the feasibility of low-cost heterojunction mass production technology.

For this efficiency breakthrough, the LONGi R&D team explored a p-type silicon wafer process solution for heterojunction cells, combined with excellent interface passivation technology, so that the VOC (open circuit voltage) of p-HJT cells reached 747.6 mV. It is worth mentioning that this low-cost heterojunction cell solution (p-HJT) has not been fully optimized for the process.
